Texas Watershed Coordinator Roundtable

Agenda

Water professionals are invited to attend biannual Texas Watershed Coordinator Roundtables. The free roundtable will begin with a panel discussion with EPA Region 6, TCEQ, and TSSWCB. There will be a variety of presentations from Texas Water Resources Institute, Institute of Renewable Natural Resources, Texas Stream Team, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, and Texas Parks and Wildlife.

Presentations will also include the following topics:

  • Integrating Regional Water Plans with WPPs
  • Texas Stream Team Support for WPPs
  • Discuss Streamlining WPP Development & Stakeholder Efforts
  • Statewide Land Trends & Impacts on Water Quality & Quantity;
  • Voluntary Land Stewardship and Watershed Planning;
  • NRCS Regional Conservation Partnership Program, Statewide Priorities, and Funding Levels;
  • TPWD Land Stewardship Programs and upcoming trainings.

The Texas Watershed Planning Program is managed by the Texas Water Resources Institute and is funded through a Clean Water Act nonpoint grant provided by the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
