Highway 22Corsicana, Texas (map) Trinity Waters and AgriLife Extension are hosting educational workshops for landowners with the focus on cattle production and feral hog control. As drought continues to plague cattle producers across the state, it is important to implement practices that will benefit the land during times of drought, the water resources of the area, and ultimately producers’ profitability and sustainability on the land. In addition, an AgriLife Extension expert will discuss the most effective ways to reduce feral hog numbers, and the laws and regulations associated with that. The workshops are free and open to the public. Two hours of continuing education units (1.5 general, 0.5 laws and regs) are available to participants.
